Flavored Cake with Cretan Herbs
In a saucepan we put the water with the herbs from the beginning together. When the water boils with the herbs for 3 minutes, we turn off the fire and we pour the honey. We cover until the herb mixture cools down and we strain with the strainer. In a bowl, we put the olive oil, the herb mix and the cake mix and we mix well with an egg beater. We spread with oil the cake pan and then we put inside the cake porridge. We bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 50-60 minutes. We rinse our cake and we serve it with a Cretan herb. If the weather it’s hot we freeze our herb with chamomile ice.
