ABEA, the first olive oil enterprise founded in Greece in 1889, is rapidly changing at the dawn of its 3rd century of operation. With a renewed corporate identity, its product portfolio is restructured by launching new product lines both in the market of olive oil-based care products, as well as in the olive oil market, which is the major field of expertise for the company. Specifically, in the category of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) it is launching a premium product line, consisting of a PDO Kolymvari EVOO, an Organic EVOO, and two monovarietal EVOOs of  Koroneiki and Tsounati variety. ABEA Cretan olive oil is distinguished by its excellent organoleptic characteristics. It owes its incomparable taste and excellent aroma to the Cretan soil, the variety of the olive fruit, the abundant sunshine and the dry climate of the island, and of course to the love of the Cretans for the olive tree.
